So little space!
04/05/09 at 13:44:36

My workbench has been covered with the Trumpeter 1/32 A-10 build, since last Oct '08.
Part of a mini group build within the club, that Harold, Kerry & myself started last Thanksgiving weekend,
Group build is to be finished by July '09 long weekend. (Canada Day)

The above photo was a test fit of major components.
The kit  suffers from 'moldshift' & is a p.i.t.a. of a build.
Hope to provide full build article for club website when complete.

This next photo is DML's excellent M2A1 Halftrack.
It provides a welcome break from the A-10!
Work on the M2A1 usually done at the Wed. night informal meetings.
This chassis shot was done while waiting for A-10 putty & primer to dry on it's respective stages.

As usual, my workspace is down to a few sq. inches, instead of the 2'x3' desktop.

OK
Due to 1:1 home remodelling on my part & diversions also hindering Harold & Kerry-deadline has been extended to Thanksgiving weekend this fall!
Which, when you think about it, is only approximately 2.5 months away! Shocked

And which was recently unanimously extended another few months... UNtil the 2010 show.

I am trying to get some time for some modeling, but had two students finishing up the past week, at work now (on a saturday morning) and had some events with the other half's family this morning, so the bench is not being modeled at at all.

Cheers
H.

Well, little progress on my part.
I did a kit reorganization back in July (I think) & only managed to paint the resin engines since then.

Hmm.... 5 months till the show.... undecided

I'll drag mine outta the closet soon too, I might be a 'tad' farther ahead, but still got lots of work to do! No doubt there, wings, are together, tail section is complete, now I just need the "front bit" to come together and we'll be sticking her together!

Most difficult part of the entire build is where the heck do you store this thing once coplete! It's HUGENATIC!

Cheers
Harald.
