Cheers peoples.

A few of us have actually closed out our builds, including my first one, an Academy CH-113 Labrador, SARCUP machine.

Others have also finished theirs.

Cheers
Harald.

Looks good.
Where is all the other finished builds?

(I'm slowly sanding away the rivets on the A-10 tail section, around the poorly fitting pods! cry )

Hi All:

Well, it's not finished yet, but I did get primer on my Fine Molds Y-Wing last night, so it stands a very good chance of being done for the deadline.  I'm not so sure about anything else on the list, but at least the #1 item should be complete (a first for me with these 1 year builds, I'm ashamed to admit).

It is a superb kit, by the way.  It makes me want to build my X-Wing and pick up the Millenium Falcon...

The Labrador looks cool, Harald.  I remember seeing the birds from Trenton fly over relatively regularly when I lived in Peterborough - much more interesting than the Griffons.

Ben's 1/48 Shinden is coming along, but has a ways to go yet.  Good chance of that being finished for the deadline too.

Perhaps more importantly, this year's Model Jeopardy is well on the way to completion.  It will be a PowerPoint this year, which means I get to incorporate lots of images (hopefully this will cut down on the number of disputed answers!).

Cheers,

Scott

Hi, folks;

As you may remember, I had my 2009 build out to the last meeting. My Eduard 1/48 F6F-3 went together very nicely, no gaps or other fit problems. I enjoyed the build, except for the decals, which did not seem to "go down" well, even with Micro Sol and Set used. Perhaps the problems were with my gloss coat as they are Cartograf decals which are usually very nice.

Anyway - we have many of the club's 2009 builds done now and hopefully more will be done by January.

Don
